Dermamelan Intimate addresses pigmentation caused by hormonal changes, friction, shaving, ageing and lifestyle factors, helping to restore a more even skin tone and improved skin quality in sensitive areas.
How Dermamelan Intimate Works
Dermamelan Intimate is a two-phase professional treatment:
1. In-clinic treatment
A single professional session where a specialised depigmenting mask is applied by a trained practitioner.
2. Home care programme
A mandatory home care protocol used for 45 days (included in the treatment), with the option to continue for up to 90 days if required, to optimise and maintain results.
This combined approach ensures effective, progressive and long-lasting results, while helping to reduce the risk of repigmentation.

Dermamelan Intimate is suitable for the treatment of hyperpigmentation in the following areas:
- External intimate / genital area
- Perianal area
- Mons pubis
- Bikini line / groin
- Inner thighs
- Axillae (underarms)
- Areolae (on assessment)
- Other delicate areas with pigmentation, subject to consultation
All areas are assessed individually during consultation to ensure suitability and safety.

Includes consultation, in-clinic treatment and a 45-day home care programme.
Additional areas treated in the same session:
- £500–£550 per additional area, depending on area size and complexity.
A personalised quote will be confirmed during consultation.
Aftercare & Follow-Up
- Strict adherence to the home care protocol is essential to achieve and maintain results.
- Home care may be extended up to 90 days if recommended.
- Follow-up reviews will be scheduled to monitor progress.
- A repeat treatment, if required, can only be performed after a minimum of 9 months.
- Sun protection and avoidance of excessive friction are essential to prevent repigmentation.
Contraindications
Dermamelan Intimate is not suitable in the following cases:
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active skin infections, open wounds or lesions in the treatment area
- Known allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients
- Recent laser treatments, chemical peels or aggressive procedures in the same area
- Active dermatological conditions such as eczema, psoriasis or active acne
- Photosensitivity or medication that increases sensitivity to sunlight
A full medical and skin assessment is required prior to treatment.
