My name is Ara, and I am a skin and beauty professional with many years of experience in aesthetics, wellness and client care.
Before working in aesthetics, I trained and worked as an interior designer, which helped me develop a strong eye for detail, balance and aesthetics. This creative background still influences the way I approach skin treatments today.
After moving to the Isle of Man in 2011, I began my journey in the beauty industry. From the beginning, I focused on building a solid and ethical practice through continuous education, professional qualifications and ongoing training.
In 2014, I opened The Beauty Studio IOM in Douglas, Isle of Man. Since then, I have been offering personalised skin and body treatments in a calm, professional and welcoming environment, always focusing on results and client comfort.
I hold VTCT / NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy and VTCT Level 4 Laser & IPL qualifications, along with advanced training in laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, mesotherapy, microneedling, chemical peels (including medical-grade peels), electrolysis and blemish removal, as well as semi-permanent makeup and micropigmentation. I continue to update my skills regularly to ensure my treatments are safe, effective and up to date.
Around 2020, I co-founded Suki Clinic, where we offered advanced skin treatments, laser hair removal and injectables. After selling my share of the business, I chose to slow things down for a while, while continuing to work part-time at The Beauty Studio and focusing on further professional development.
In 2024, I also joined Noble’s Hospital as a Bank Health Care Assistant, where I work occasional shifts supporting clinics within the Radiology and Outpatients departments. This experience has strengthened my clinical awareness and patient care skills, and it positively complements my aesthetic work.
In 2026, I joined the team at Skin Clinic as an advanced practitioner. Here, I work as part of a professional team providing laser and skin treatments, with a strong focus on facial skin health. I treat concerns such as skin ageing, pigmentation, acne, overall skin quality and blemish removal, always starting with a detailed consultation and a personalised treatment plan.
My aim is not quick fixes, but long-term skin health, natural results and improved confidence. I value honest communication, professional integrity and treatments that respect the skin’s natural processes.

About Ara
Let us introduce you to Ara, our visionary and creative force. With a background in interior design and studies in Communications at the Open University of Catalonia, Ara brings a unique artistic perspective to her work. She also has extensive business experience. What started as a passion for the beauty world has evolved into a successful professional career driven by natural talent and unwavering dedication to continuous learning and growth. Ara has honed her skills as an aesthetics professional and SPMU technician, acquiring knowledge in Barcelona and the United Kingdom, mastering a wide range of modern treatments.
In October 2014, Ara's entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish The Beauty Studio IOM. In 2021, Ara developed an Independent Clinic project, Suki Clinic (laser and aesthetic clinic), and obtained the clinic's operating license in December of the same year. Ara concurrently served as the Director and co-owner of Suki Clinic until January 2023. Currently, in 2023, Ara continues to lead The Beauty Studio IOM with an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her continuous development and training ensure that only the best treatments are offered to each client, leaving them looking and feeling incredible.
